A different Toruń
Toruń seen from a different perspective will be featured in a promotional movie created by Łukasz Karwowski. Premiere is set for January 19th and it will take place in Centre Cinema in CoCA.
The promo clip was in the making for the last couple of months. It will feature many unseen photos and shots taken from the air. It will showcase Toruń as a place with impressive traditions but also youthful. And what is important, as a city loved by its citizens.
“The movie director decided to showcase not only popular touristic attractions, but also places that are not too well known. I was impressed with the result, but I can’t say too much not to spoil the fun” – says Zbigniew Derkowski who have seen the movie during a special municipal pre-screening.
The movie is already being compared to promo clips made by other Polish cities, like the one created by Agnieszka Holland for Warsaw. We truly believe the one created in Toruń will be a one of its kind.

Spot Łukasza - ile by nie kosztował - jest najlepszym spotem, jaki dotychczas widziałem o Toruniu. Od razu rozesłałem link z nim na youtube do kilkudziesięciu moich znajomych z Polski i zagranicy. Dostałem bardzo dużo szczerze pozytywnych opinii. Podkreślano jego jakość, pomysł, dobre ujęcia i piękno Torunia. Co najważniejsze twierdzą, że teraz tym bardziej chcą odwiedzić Nasze miasto. Czego więcej oczekujemy od spotu reklamowego?

Nie chcę na razie zbyt wiele zdradzać, aby nie psuć efektu” – mówi o reklamówce Torunia Zbigniew Derkowski, dyrektor Wydziału Kultury Urzędu Miasta, który widział spot na specjalnych pokazach w grudniu. Dodajmy, że to właśnie Wydział Kultury sfinansował produkcję filmu.
