Flying festival
A new project of Baj Pomorski Puppet Theatre from Toruń was awarded with a large grant coming from „Culture 2007-2013” fund!
The first sign of the project was the premiere of “Jaskółeczka” play directed by Zbigniew Lisowski. The aim of the project is to show viewers all the problems that modern families are facing all over Europe. Everything consists of two parts. In the first one, five European theatres will create a play relating to the subject of a family and a child in modern Europe.
In the second part of the project, this play will travel through each and every participating city. Four theatres from the EU are involved, including Baj Pomorski acting as the leader and coordinator of the project. Academic State Puppet Theatre from Ucraine is also participating in the whole thing.
It’s worth to mention that the European Commission grant is quite a big one, 196.500 Euro!
