Fryderyk Awards and Toruń

Jacek Kościuszko, Sławek Wierzcholski and Sofa – these are all artists from Toruń that were nominated to this year Fryderyk Award, the most important music award in Poland.

From blues, through modern r’n’b, all the way to rock video-clip – artists from Toruń are successful in many different fields. Sławek Wierzcholski, blues harp player and leader of the Blues Nightshift, was nominated for his recent album. “Philharmonic Blues”. Sofa was nominated for “DoReMiFaSoFa” disc and Jacek Kościuszko for his video-clip to “I can’t Forget About You” song by Agnieszka Chylińska.

The award ceremony will take place on April 19th in Polish Theatre in Warsaw.
