”Literary ride” in Toruń’s public transportation

Public transportation (photo by Tomasz Karolak) rises many things to our minds, but should we ask the passengers about their associations, the literature would not probably take one of the leading positions.

Municipal Institution of Culture Toruń 2016, the students of the School of Theatrical Education and Practice in Torun and the public transportation company of Toruń decided to change it. Tomorrow, on Friday, 26 March 2010 — literally and figuratively — “Literary Ride” starts — an action of poetry and prose reading on buses and trams. Lovers of beautiful words and beautiful speech are invited to MZK vehicles at the following times:

• Bus line 11 (to Czerniewice): 12³⁰ Koniuchy, 12⁴³ Plac Rapackiego
• Bus line 27 (to Railway Station): 12⁵⁹ Wrzosy, 13¹⁵ Plac Rapackiego
• Tram Line 1 (to Olimpijska): 13¹⁵ Reja, 13²¹ Plac Rapackiego

The action will continue through April. Information about the next “Literary rides” will be published on our website.
