Meteor shower streaks across Toruń’s sky

Telescope lenses and a multimedia show will help guests of Centre of Contemporary Art to look at our galaxy from a new perspective.

At mid-July, each year the meteor shower of Perseids is visible in the Northern Hemisphere’s Sky. This year, a peak activity occurs at the 12th of August. Therefore it’s a date of an entertaining event called „Tonopolis in shooting stars shower” which will take place at CoCA’s terrace.

Computer visualizations of the sky, watching Perseids through optical telescopes and concert of BWSound group are the main attractions of that fabulous night.

Schedule of the event also include a presentation of the project Tonopolis. It’s a name of unconventional music album which contains of sound recordings of Toruń’s most characteristic places.

Show starts at 8PM. Admission free.
