Toruń 2016 at the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity

Big pies, juggling lessons and wonderful stamps with the logo of Toruń 2016. Throughout the day, in a special tent of our institution, all children will be able to find something interesting.

In this way the idea of the European Capital of Culture will find its place in the Toruń finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, and the Toruń 2016 institute will join this wonderful holiday. The first Sunday in January has been for years traditionally dominated by the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. That is also the case for January 10, 2010. The celebration of the GOCC finale with Toruń 2016 starts at 10.00 and ends at 20.00.

• At the very beginning, from 10.00, we invite the kids for Painted Hearts — painting with poster paints on the pre-prepared, wood cut GOCC hearts.
• From 12.00 to 14.00 we invite you to Circus Hours. Everyone who comes will have a chance to learn juggling and have some circus fun with the WOAK staff. It will be also an opportunity to learn the basic principles of juggling with scarves and balls, play games and have fun with juggler props, dance, walk on stilts, and learn to ride a monocycle. There will also be face painting.
• About 14.00 Toruń 2016 Logo Moves in the World — begins a great affixing of Toruń 2016 logo on wax seals on commemorative envelopes.
• From 15:00 to 17:00 it will be possible to take photos with the actors of the “Baj Pomorski” theatre.
• 16.00 is a Colourful Gingerbread — children decorating ginger hearts with sweet additives.
• About 18.00 it’s time for Delicious Paintings — painting with icing, chocolate, decorating with coconut, raisins and wafer crumbs.

In addition, in the afternoon the tent will run charity sell of pieces of cake prepared by the Lenkiewicz confectionery. Children who will visit us can also count on lollipops and gifts. The tent will close its doors at 20.00.
