UNESCO Angels

A place on UNESCO World Heritage List is one of the things Toruń is very proud about. A group of young people calling themselves “The Toruń UNESCO Angels” plan to remind us about it!

“UNESCO Angels – World Heritage of Toruń” is a project aimed at reminding people that being a part of the UNESCO list brings us many advantages, including privileges reserved to only a number of cities in the world.

This project – supported by the President Of Toruń and financed by the European Commission – was carried out in nine stages. They included exhibitions and workshops. During one of those workshops kids from the city were drawing illustrations for a comic book talking about adventures of the young Nicolaus Copernicus.

January 30th will see the summary of the project.
